Okay, first thing’s first: the installation I’ve seen a lot of people saying this key doesn’t work; they’re wrong. I bought this game, got the email from amazon, then looked up on youtube “Transformers War For Cybertron cd key-keygun.
Once it accepts this key, it will proceed installation THEN ask you for the product activation code, which you’ll get from this purchase. I run it at fps p and have no issues or bugs from that.
The only note I would say is that you should run it in fullscreen, since it has a windowed option but not a borderless windowed version. Second: Let’s talk about the multiplayer! This PC edition makes this the third version I have played of the game.
First, I played it way back when it came out on the Wii, as some bastardized on-rails shooter. I also played it on PS3, back in it’s multiplayer heyday, and it was a blast. Completely unbalanced gun-play, but in the most “who cares, it’s fun” kinda way.
Sadly, no platforms are able to do multiplayer since they shutdown the servers a few years ago. The only glimmer of hope there, is the “Transformers: ReEnergized” project consists of a bunch of modders trying to reconstruct the multiplayer from the ground up — go check out their project! The soundtrack itself is somewhat adaptive to where you are and what you’re doing. The graphics are, well They’re better than Fallout 3, that’s the best I can say.
VERY low resolution textures, low-poly models, extremely antiquated lighting, and cutscenes that are still p 30fps. There is a silver lining here, and it’s that either the developers were future seers or just lucky, but the low-end graphics just work.
The story progression is really what got me to come back to this game, and actually is what got me into transformers as a franchise. They did oversimplify Megatron’s “evil” way too much, and kinda streamlined the moral quandaries of the transformers universe to fit into the game, but it’s still got a good plot.

In order to launch the game you ALSO need an install code that the game doesn’t give you or even tell you about.
You can just search up “transformers war for cybertron install code” and you’ll be able to find it as one of the first results. The game is still working!

I bought it here on Amazon as a birthday gift for his computer thinking he would be able to play a classic. The activation key that I received was invalid, so the game is unplayable. I cannot recommend this game here since the product key is invalid on Steam.
